What do my Prompt PGS results mean?

Prompt PGS is a simple genetic test that can help you know your individual relative risk for prostate cancer.

Prompt PGS is a well validated Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) germline test performed on DNA from buccal swab specimens used to evaluate a man’s individual relative genetic predisposition to developing prostate cancer.

Prompt was designed to provide patients and clinicians with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health and screening.  Screening is determined by risk.  Prostate cancer is curable with early detection; however, it remains the second leading cause of cancer deaths in men.

​The Prompt PGS score places a patient in Below Average, Average, Above Average risk category. Below, you will find examples of each report type.
