Myraid MyRisk is a genetic test that provides your healthcare providers with the tools necessary to manage and identify your risk for hereditary prostate cancer. The test looks at 29 different genes and identifies elevated risk for 8 hereditary cancers. These genes, when mutated, have been shown to be associated with an increased risk of developing cancer.
The results of the MyRisk can help your healthcare provider determine your hereditary cancer risk, and subsequently develop a customized monitoring, treatment, or diagnostic plan based upon your results.
Below are several resources designed to help patients and their family better understand how MyRisk is used in a clinical setting, including a video, link to a hereditary cancer quiz, as well as downloadable brochures.
