Since you received radiation, it might be beneficial for you to conduct a Decipher Biopsy, OncotypeDX or Prolaris test on your previous biopsy tissue (before treatment- or recent tissue if you had a biopsy after your radiation) to assess if further treatment may be necessary down the line. However, many radiation oncologists may want to wait until your PSA rises +2ng/ml above the lowest point after your radiation to see if further biopsies/treatment is necessary. There are many factors that contribute to the outcome of these tests; only you and your health care provider should decide what steps to take.  Click Here to return to the home page.
